Since the beginning of the crisis, Armor Lux has been making fabric masks, having received a lot of requests from local authorities, in particular from the town of Quimper and residential care homes for the elderly (Ehpad in French). Around 2 000 cotton masks were made in this way in a few hours.
Ludovic Jolivet, the Mayor of Quimper explains : “We were looking to acquire washable masks to equip our staff who work in institutions, residential care homes for the elderly, and for home helps. If we had 3 000, institutional care workers could have at least two each.”
