This first-time opening up of share capital for the Victor Pauchet Healthcare Groupe aims at building a new hospital alliance in the Hauts-de-France and Ile-de-France regions, between two independent private hospital groups who are joining forces. With the acquisition of two Groupe Clinifutur establishments - Sainte Isabelle Clinic (in Abbeville) and Sainte Geneviève Clinic (in Paris) - the new group will now comprise 8 healthcare establishments offering a complete and diverse range of services, with 680 beds and spaces, 320 doctors and 800 staff members, looking after over 50,000 patients per year.

This first round of financing sees Credit Mutuel Equity joining long-standing partners composed of members of the de Butler group and practitioners from the establishment, and the vendor, the Clinifutur group, which wanted to be a part of the operation. The package is partially financed by a banking syndicate, led by the Caisse d’Epargne des Hauts-de-France, with the participation of Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie, Crédit Coopératif and BPI France.

By bringing the Sainte Isabelle (Abbeville) and Sainte Geneviève (Paris) clinics into a strategic alliance with their long-standing shareholder Clinifutur, the health care group from La Réunion Island, the Victor Pauchet Healthcare Group is increasing its range of specialities and strengthening its regional network. They offer a complete range of healthcare services in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Nephrology, Follow-up and Rehabilitation care and Home Hospital care.
The two groups are very familiar with each other. This alliance follows on from several years of working together as members of the SantéCité national Cooperative of Independent Private Hospitals.

"This strengthening of ties is a great opportunity which aims to reinforce regional healthcare services, to pursue the implementation of medical projects based on centres of excellence and to pursue partnerships with primary care private practices and public hospitals, in order to promote efficiency and complementarity of patient care", explains Stéphan de Butler d’Ormond, president of Groupe Santé Victor Pauchet, who particularly thanks Michel Deleflie, President of Clinifutur for having renewed his confidence. He also applauds the presence of the institutional partners accompanying this project which is important for the region.

"This alliance between two partners who already work together and share the same values is a fine opportunity for regional consolidation for it allows the new group to position itself to make other strategic acquisitions. We are delighted to be able to support the long-term development of Groupe Santé Victor Pauchet and bring our expertise in build-up in particular", adds Mathieu Sollet, Investments Portfolio Director at Crédit Mutuel Equity.
